Training Events 2008 Virtual Conference based in Hong Kong Unleashing Potential Helping Youth Cope with Learning & Attentional Problems Free Virtual Conference Registration Focus On Children's Understanding in Schools (F.O.C.U.S.), a Hong Kong-based nonprofit organization, is hosting a two-day conference on learning and attentional disorders in Hong Kong, as well as a three-month "wrap-around" Virtual Conference for all participants attending the event in Hong Kong, as well as for colleagues from around the globe who are interested but cannot travel to Hong Kong. F.O.C.U.S. is extending an invtation to all members of ADDISS to visit and consider joining into the virtual discussions of these important issues. As part of the invitation, F.O.C.U.S. has generously offered ADDISS ten free registrations in the Virtual Conference. The first ten people from ADDISS to do so will be given free registrations. Normally, the enrollment fee for the Virtual Conference is $799 HKD, which is approximately $100 USD. All the organizers ask is that if you are given free registration, you provide feedback to them about the Virtual Conference experience and software so that they can improve it. The F.O.C.U.S. Virtual Conference is an online professional, social and learning environment where you can investigate and discuss issues with your peers from around the world related to the subject matter of the F.O.C.U.S. live conference: learning differences, unleashing potential, and helping youth cope with learning and attentional disorders. Participants in the Virtual Conference will be able to participate in expert-led discussion groups, exchange messages with other participants, access a directory of all members, and view information about Merchants engaged in providing products and services related to learning and attentional disorders.
